I stalked quietly out of the Warrior's den. I was going to the Great Oak, weather Icestar liked it or not. I know she had ordered me not too but I didn't ALWAYS have to listen to other cats and I didn't anyway. Just if I wanted too. Oh well, if I got in trouble I got in trouble. I would adcept it and move on. I looked around and made sure everyone was sleeping and crossed swiftly to the exit and headed to the Great Oak.

Tigerfire's yellow eyes opened as Fireflight left the camp. He got up and followed her silently as possible, tracking her by scent, not even risking keeping her in sight. His movements where casual, simply following a clanmate. He had to get close to her, what better way then to woo her? He certainly had the looks and strength, and the wit, to do it.

I was by the Great Oak sniffing the now stale scents on and around the roots when I caught whiff of a fresh one. "Come out or I make you come out! I know your there so give it up!" I snarled, menacingly. But then I reconized the scent. "Come out Tigerfire. Why are you following me?" I said a little more calmly. My fur was puffed out and I couldn't help but leave the snarl on my face. I was a little anger that he had followed me but a little relived that he was here, in two ways. I still wasn't sure how I felt about him...maybe I could get to know him better tonight, and about who attacked him.

Tigerfire froze, then came out calmly, a sorry smile on his face. "Sorry for following you... Its just that I know Fireclan's still out there, b and they may or may not have followed me. I didn't want anything to happen to you..." He said, sitting and looking at his paws, seemingly embarrassed. She was a pretty she-cat, and this made it all the easier for me.

My fur started to flatten and the snarl had faded. "Thank you. I could have taken care of myself though. I'm more than a mach for kittypets and rouges." I spat the two words at the end my emerald eyes blazing with anger. "How could they do this to you, your such a..." I paused. "sweet tom." I smiled one of my rare smiles. He was pretty good looking but I was still not sure about well anything. My brain was in a fog, I could more than likely be falling into a trap...why did I just think that?! I was falling for this tom a little and also trusting him. "So what do you want to do tonight? I think I'll stay a while the stars are beautiful tonight. To think that's Starclan looking down at us...'' I sighed and padded close to Tigerfire, standing so close that their fur brushed together...

Tigerfire looked up at the stars, to him it looked as if Tigerstar was winking down at him, telling him to make his move now. "Yes, Starclan is magnificent tonight, isn't it? Though they are nowhere near as beautiful as the firey she-cat sitting next to me," He then pinned his ears back, seemingly in embarassment for what he just said. Hemoved his tail to wrap around her, shuffling my front lpaws in an embarassed way.

I suddenly sprang away from him as my bottle of emotions popped. I couldn't love him! He was tricking me! I clawed a pine tree that was near by. I couldn't love! No not right now with the prophecy and new clan! My mind was battling over two emotions: Love and mistrust. I relized that he was probably shocked at the way that I acted. This IS a trick to get you to trust him! A voice inside me yelled. No I thought fiercely. NO! I loved him and that was true! This was no trick! He loved me too! I had to be! I calmed myself and sat next to him letting him wrap his tail around me. I smiled shyly as he shuffled his paws embaressed. "I'm sorry just strange thoughts going through my head. "Your such a muscular, handsome tom." I said, flirting back. I just loved the way those stars looked down at me...

Tigerfire allowed hurt to show in his eyes, while scolding himself in his head. Go slower! Not so fast! He looked down and licked her ear, purring. "You don't ahve to pretend to like me, Fireflight. I can understand if you don't... I can learn how to deal with it. I would rather anything that goes on with us to be real, not fake..." He said, sadness popping up now as he looked down into forest green eyes. He would be the perfect tom for her, she'll have no choice but to say yes, in the end...

I didn't know what to say. My head was still arguing over which side was true. I tried to will the Love side to win, the side I wanted to win. "I know. I mean what I say. Always. I really like you." I said confidently. I licked his cheek and I cats could blush I did. I stared into those lovely amber eyes but then I saw some emotion in them other than sadness...hatred, slyness?

Tigerfire purred, pleasure returning to his features. "I'm glad, Fireflight. I really like you alot, too..." He said, looking down lovingly, yes, lovingly, at her. In a way, she reminded him of Nightpaw, whom he never even saw turn to warrior. sadness tinted his eyes then, he was unable to keep it out. He had truely cared for Nightstrike, and now he wouldnt see her again... but now he had to cover up his slip up. He laid down, tucking his paws under his chest and sighing. "I'm sorry Fireflight, you just remind me of my little sister... You act just like her... and I miss her..." He said sadly. This time it was genuine. Yes, Nightstrike was his sister.

I purred and rubbed my check againest his. "Who was your sister? Is she in the Clans? I might just know her though I'm new here myself." I smiled, purring. I batted him playfully with a paw. 'Are you feeling better? You were scractched up pretty bad." I twined my tail around his but part of my brain was screaming no! Urgh! I hated this. Which side should I believe? The part that thought this was a trap or true love. I laid down next to him purring harder. "I don't want to go back to the den tonight. Let's sleep out here, under the gaze of our ancesters. Alone, together." What the heck was I doing?! I said myself I couldn't fall in love right now but it didn't have to be now, it could be later after this whole phrophecy thing was done.

Tigerfire echoed Fireflight's own purr, licking her ear. "My sister's name was Blackstreak. She was born after my mother left the clans, though. She was with us when Fireclan attacked," He said, voice laced with sadness. Heplaced hischin on her shoulders, purring ever harder. "I'd like that Fireflight." He said, yellow eyes sparkling. She wouldn't know he was cunning, sly, leader of Fireclan even, she would only know the decent Tom she met tonight.

"Oh too bad. I've never heard of her. I wonder if there you know still in the forest or in..." I cut off not wanting to ruin the moment. I sighed and curled into a ball. "I'm tired. Can we sleep now?" I let out a yawn for added effect and closed my eyes. I wasn't worried about anything now the side of love had won.

OOC: I think were ready for Icestar to crash this lovefest! lol

Tigerstar closed his eyes, confident he has won her love now. "Yes, sleep would be nice..." He trailed off, yawning,his tail curling around Fireflight's sleeping form.

The sun had risen and Icestar was worried and mad, two of her warriors, well a warrior and a new comer had gone missing, she had followed their cents to the great oak. She had noticed She lone had followed the other, so nothing had gone bad right she looked up now, and hissed, she saw the two cats curled up under one of the trees. She marched up to them she was mostly worried,''Fireflight how dare you sleep with a cat you just have met!!''. The cat was pissed, her eyes where like wild fire.. nothing can calm her down.
