"It's ok no more tackling now. My name is Fireflight. Thank you Icestar, I'll take good care of her and train her well." I said excitedly. I looked at the tired kit and picked her up. I knew that I probably shouldn't but she had a long rough day. "Come on Icestar, let's get this little one back and then we can come back if that's ok with you." I said through a mouthfull of fur. I started to take a step toward camp and then looked back to see if it was ok.

Icestar looked at Fireflight and just sighed, she gave up, this cat had a mind on her own. She nodded though, ''If need be we will find your brothers, but for now you are priority''. She flicked her tail AND walked in the front, hoping her warrior would stay by her side or behind her. She was so happy, the clan was growing quickly and steady. |

At first she struggled as Fireflight picked her up but then she just relaxed and allowed the warrior to carry her, she sighed and soon the rocking had put her to sleep, despite her trying to fight it but it was to no effort, the steady motion had put her right to sleep and so the dreams began again. Honeypaw would have no idea how to get to and from camp but she was sure Fireflight would show her how and were to go, for now the dreams and darkness were having there fun with her mind. |

"Icestar, I don't think her brothers will join. She said they were as wicked as her father." I said through a mouthful of fur. The kit was now asleep and I was getting nervous again. "Icestar, I have a confession to make. Your like a mother to me. I never really remembered my mother or if I had any brothers or sisters or both so you kind of took that place. Thanks for putting up with me." The words were kind of slurred but I hope the meaning came from my deep emerald green eyes.

Icestar watched the small cat fall asleep, she was so cute, fragile even. The leader smiled, there was no way she could not. But Fireflight's words brought back memories and Icestar loved to help, she looked at the she-cat her green eye making the scene, ''Oh Fireflight, i am glad to here that, you do remind me of Barkpelt, you two never listen''.She laughed and shook her head, the memories where great, her life was great, all was awesome, for now anyways, ''I am glad you think of me that way, i will treat you with respect and love. But you got to remember i am the leader here and you have to listen hun''. The leader smiled hoping not to seem rude, but it was true the young warrior had to listen, she was young, and lovable, Icestar did like this cat. And as they turned the corner the camp appeared, the leader tucked under the bramble, they where home. |

Honeypaw was fast asleep that was until that dream hit and she nearly jumped out of her fear with fear, she was wide awake now and she meowed painfully, it was not that the she-cat was hurting her it was just that this dream was driving her mad and making her hurt mentally, she curled her paws and closed her eyes falling back to sleep in a quick hurry she did not want to be apart of the boring adult conversation and so thinking about that made her fall back to sleep in no time at all, she did not even get to see them cross into the camp. |

"I know, it's just sometimes I forget and then I start acting like I'm the leader. Which I know isn't true but sometimes I just can't control that you know...something inside of me. It just get's worse in stituations like this. I think the only reason I do that is because I feel like I'm helpless other wise, well that or I get mad about it but sometimes that just doesn't work out. Well I do try to listen except when I really think it's right to NOT listen. Well you know the rest really. " I laughed a little when she said that Barkpelt and I were alike. We were. Almost like brother and sister. I looked around camp. All was quite. I didn't like it. It was just too quiet.

Icestar giggled, her face lighting up, she was glad Fireflight understood, but the camp was deserted, Icestar wondered why, she knew her kit was probably out training, Barkpelt probably causing trouble, but she had over 10 cats! Icestar was confused but she sighed and started to make her way to the apprentice den, ''Could you please put her in there, when she wakes up, i will introduce her to the clan, then you can show her around''. The leader smiled and hopped all would go well, Fireflight would be a good mentor right. |
