Traning Hollow..teaching Barkpaw [open]

Icestar lead the way to the Training hollow where is a perfect place to teach you apprentice."Now Barkpaw i want you to watch first its called Back Kick, ill show you first then you can try" , Icestar got up and looked on ahead as if there was an opponent in front of her, she then judged her distance carefully and lashed out with her front legs taking her weight with her back,"And thats how you do it, its an explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Barkpaw you will have to judge your opponent's distance from you carefully; then lash out with your back legs, taking your weight on your front paws..now try it on me", she could tell he was nervous in the inside even tough he looked almost calm in the out side..

Barkpaw nodded and walked forward looking at his opponent which was his mentor he then jumped at her turning him self so his back legs will be the on attacking her putting his weight in his front put he only lashed out 3 times before he fell forwards,"That was not me there was a rock and..Icestar may i try again", she nodded so he did and as he practiced he did better.

This was their second official training, but she have taken Barkpaw out before but today she wanted to teach him official Iceclan hunting techniques, she waited for him under one of the trees as the days went by it was getting warmer and more like Full-Leaf, and there she thought of how and which technique she shawl teach him.

Irispaw gracefully prowled through the forest, she kept low not sure of her surroundings, never having been away from the camp she was just a bit wary. She kept going nevertheless, she wondered if Barkpaw would be there yet or if she would have to explain and face Icestar herself, she had become alot more respectful and quiet now that the sickness had gone from her. She was alot more midful that Starclan was just as ruthless in taking away lives as giving them so she shutup and kept herself in line.

Barkpaw was exited to see that Irispaw did come to the Training session, he looked up at her as she came padding in to the clearing,"Hello Irispaw come this wayohh ya Icestar i invited Irispaw since you asked", I looked at Icestar with pleading , 'puppy dog' eyes, and hoped she would give in, then i when to stand by Irispaw side hoping that will show support to Irispaw.,

Icestar looked surprised as she saw Iripaw coming their way, but as soon as Barkpaws explanation came out of his mouth she could not resist, with a simpatic look on her face she replied,"Of course you can join Irispaw, your always welcome and anyway you have training to catch up on."

Irispaw dipped her head to Icestar in thanks and then waited to see what would happen, and if she would get it right... without hurting herself with her weak joints and muscles. She didn't like being weak and fragile, it made her feel like a kit.

Icestar stand up, looks at Barkpaw and Irispaw and speaks ready for training,"Today i will teach you how to hunt properly, and maybe even how to swim and catch fish, if there is time, first of you crouch down, ears back and tail down but your tail and belly are not low enough to hit or scrape the ground, the you stake your prey carefully forward , paw by paw so you wont make a sound, and if its mice you will have to be quick they can fell your paw steps."she crouched down showing them step by step of what to do, her eyes focused on a fake prey, she slowly stepped forward, stalking her prey.

Barkpaw watched with intense eyes as his mentor though them how to properly hunt, and when she asked who would like to try, Barkpaw stood up and patted forward,"Ill try", he looked at a peice of leaf pretending its prey, he then pressed his body down trying not to touch the ground, but he forgot his tail, he then started to steppe forward paw by paw.

Icetsar watched her Apprentice, he was good except for one thing,"Barkpaw you forgot to keep your tail down, but overall it was good", she nodded over to Irispaw..her turn.
