Morningflower walked in to camp with Mistykit,Spiritkit and Acaciakit in her jaws, she was very tired, and new that the cats where going to leave for the mgathering soon maybe, as the sun was setting, she lead the way den to the nersery and crawled in, settleling her kits down, and watched as Eagletalong put the other two girls, Breezewkit and Adderkit, down too, she sighed and asked for one more favour,"Could you get Dahliaheart for mr please?", she just whnated to make sure her kits where okay, they where born almost 18 hours ago.
With a slight sigh Mistykit felt at home, the smeel was all oif warm milk, and all her sibling hwere around her, she could see the lighjt as her eyes started to open even then when they open it would take 20 min or so for them to focouse, she yawned and crawled for her mother she was hungry agin, getting milk on her silky black fur, made her feel better.

Breezekit slowly stumbled over to Morningflower for she was hungry again. She was so excited to see the world.
Adderkit also saw some light but was to unfocus to make out details, she stumbled over to Morningflower adn started to suckle.
"I will get her." He said as he ran out to get the she-cat.

Dahliaheart padded into the nursery and sighed at how beautiful and healthy all of the kits looked at first sight, but some illnesses could be on the inside so Dahliaheart got to work checking the kits, when all of them were satifactorily checked up and healthy, Dahliaheart wanted to make sure Morningflower was well fed and was producing enough milk to feed the kits.
"How long ago?"
Dahliaheart asked straight forwardly, not hiding any sterness in her voice.
"You should've been in camp, better yet the nursery, something could have happened and you wouldn't have had any help."

Morningflower looked at Dahliaheart with sad eyes as if she had done something that could have harmed her kits,"Im sorry, they where born about sixteen to nineteen hours ago, and i just wanted to be free stretch, my legs..." , she looked down, making sure all her kits where suckling okay,"And i do have milk but i dont think its enough to keep up with five kits", she saw again how every time they ate some of them whined as her milk dried for a while, in till she ate or drank some water. Morningflower also new that soon Icestar would come and visit.
Mistykit yawned she was not sure what was going on but she could hear another voice asking her mommy things , and she could not understand what, she decided to crawl around Acaciakit and Adderkit to get some more milk, it felt good as it went down her throat it was warm and sweet, making her misty black fur white, around her muzzle, but it stopped coming for a bi, and she was still hungry.

Breezekit whined as she was getting no more milk. She was still very hungry and she wanted her nice, warm milk.
Adderkit was suckling but whines as she felt no milk coming. She started suckling again as she felt more milk coming.

Mistykit sighed, she had not gotten enough milk to make her full but enough to make her satisfied, she blinked and saw some blurry pictures, she blinked again, she could see now but it was blurry, she was happy now, and decided to take a nap not knowing that soem of her sibling are hungry.

Adderkit blinked a few times and sees everything blurry. She smiles as she curls up close to her mother, falling asleep against her warmth.
Breezekit blinks a few times and continues to whine. She was ezcited that she started to see but is still very hungry. She continues to suckle, trying to get some more milk.

Dahliaheart disappeared out of the nursery to get some Borage leaves, seeing as Morningflower didn't seem to be producing enough milk to satisfy her kits. Dahliaheart also stopped by the fresh kill pile to grab a rabbit for Morningflower, if she hadn't eaten since before the kits were born that could also be a culprit for the lack of milk.
"You need to eat more Morningflower. Eat this and then the Borage leaves."

Morningflower nodded,"Thank you Dahliapaw if it wasn't for you and Eagletalon i don't know what would have happened to my kits". she looked down at her sleeping and squirming babies, and pulled the rabbit closer, she sniffed at it, and noticed how hungry she really was. Morningflower bit the rabbit, munching at it with delight in her face, it tasted so good, and her mouth watered, she was also careful not to get her self dirty, or the kits, Morningflower filled her self fast, then turned over to the leafs,"Okay i hope they don't taste bad", she picked them up and chewed them fast and it wasn't so bad maybe a bit bitter."Thank you Dhaliapaw.."
Mistykit yawned , she had a nice nap but woke up when she smelled some thing good, she wasn't sure what it was but new it must be food when she heard her mommy eating it, Mistykit stretched her body laying down and blinked her eyes a few times, she could see now, maybe not perfect like a adult or anything but she could see!

Adderkit opens her eyes and is excited to see. Even though she doesnt have adult vision yet, she was ahppy to see part of her mother*
Breezekit opens her eyes and mews happily as she was able to see. SHe slowly crawled over to her mother and is happy to be able to get some more milk.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It has been a few days Morningflower has been giving loads of milk to her kits they have been growing and now their eyes are fully open and they can play and grow, Morningflower has decided that the could go out for the first time today but an apprentice has to be with them,"Okay kits Barkpaw will be with you the whole time and so will be Angelkit", she smiled at the apprentice and Angelkit then looks at her own kits with a stern eye.Morningkit sighed, she thought it would be no fun with chaperons but then maybe it would they could show them around,she turned her big blue eyes to her sibling and stood up ready to follow they big brown tom and the smaller cream she-cat. |

Acaciakit's smooth, crystal clear sea blue eyes as her mother told her siblings and her what was going on. She had no interest in whoever was taking care of her, not at all. What was an apprentice and a mere kit gonna do to keep her in line? Not that she'd go out of her way to make trouble but, if she got curious about something... who was to say she couldn't do it? Turning on her very realistic cutesy kit personality she blinked up at Barkpaw, before pouncing on Adderkit in play. It was only gently, because Acaciakit was always careful with her siblings, she wouldn't like it if any of them got hurt.

Barkpaw sighed if he wanted to become a warrior he needed to get at least a few kits inline, he watched as the tortoiseshell kit as he learned their names,Acaciakit, pounced on her sister,"Please Acaciakit calm down will be going in a moment just thinking of what to show first", he smiled at the small kits, felling empowered to them but some how they all looked cute to him, maybe this is how Irisbreeze sees him.
Angelkit giggled the kits were so cute, even though she was one her self she was pretty much double their size and considered by many an apprentice, even though it was not in her name, she hoped that as her mom talked to the other cats in her den it was about her becoming an apprentice and that showing them around will take things of her mind.

"I want to go out now." Breezekit mewed in annoyance. She was eager to get out of the nursery to look around the camp. She was full of energy and was about ready to run out of the nursery on her own.
Adderkit was excited to have a tour of the camp. She was getting cramped up in the nursery but knew that she had to stay in there until she turned six moons old.

Angelkit smiled,"Okay okay! we will go now", she looked at Barkpaw and they new now where they where going but to the kits it would be a surprise,"Okay kits lets go", she stretched and let the older more experienced Barkpaw go first.
Barkpaw flicked his tail showing for the kits to follow him, and as he walked out of the Nursery the cool chill air made him cold, and he new exactly where to go.
