Irispaw was stretching out in the sun, she was finally better. She was just thin and at loss for energy but she was finally rid of that terrible sickness that had assaulted her when she wasn't expecting it. She yawned lazily and stretched her muscles. They had wasted away and become weak after a moon or two without training, hunting or patrolling. You just couldn't keep Irispaw down. Her fur hung off of her gaunt body as she got up and took a rabbit from the fresh kill pile. She was thinking about what Eagletalon had said to her, it made her blush-if cats could blush- to know he had just gone into the medicine cat den just to lift her spirits. She was completely oblivious to the fact that Barkpaw also loved her, it would later lead into some kind of chaos. Ooc. Uh oh, two crushes... on one cat,.... |

Barkpaw
Barkpaw was happy to see Irispaw walking around and he didnt care that she was skinny or any thing so he decided to ask her is she wanted to leanr a new move Icestar just thought him,"Hey Irispaw wanna see a Battle move i just learned?" his ears and tail twitched in exitment. He looked at her in eargerness too, he wanted her to catch un in tarining and he would love to show her what he learned too.

Irispaw yawned and looked up at Barkpaw, she lifted her bloodstained muzzle and licked the blood off in one swipe of the tongue. She stood up and looked at him, "Sure, try it on me." Irispaw braced herself, she was relaxed and all but she was up for a good kick or whatever.

Barkpaw nodded,"Okay but ill make sure not to hurt you, maybe i can teach you later it too." and walked forward looking at his 'opponent' then he jumped at her turning him self so his back legs will be the one attacking her, putting his weight in his front legs but he still was not perfect, but he was better and fell forwards,"That was I learned today i still gotta practice it more though", he sat down and flicked his tail proud of him self.

Irispaw sat down and groomed her thin and lanky fur. Ugh. No shine to it. She gave up and laid down on the dusty forest clearing floor. Her eyes shone bright and she finally looked healthy. Her eyes went dreamy as she stared at Barkpaw... but she was actually thinking about Eagletalon, Irispaw was so oblivious to Barkpaw liking her... it was sad. Barkpaw would probably think that she was looking and thinking at him that way.
OOc. WHen she gonna become Warrior>? WHen she was sick you said... yea. Well she has to get some apprenticing in there doesn't she? Urg.

OOc..let her get at lest 80% then she can have her name and ceremony.
Barkpaw watches his...love?...groom her self it was interesting to watch, but he hoped she would not catch him staring as it would be awkward, but he could not stop looking.

Irispaw looked up and saw him staring at her. She knew that type of look, uh uh. Fox dung! She thought to herself angrily. How could she have not seen it before? He L-.... loved?... her? Surely just a petty crush but no it wasn't. She stopped grooming herself and pushed her rabbit toward him.
"Do you wanna share this?" She asked tentatively.

Barkpaw beamed, he walked to Irispaw's side and nodded he then laid down and looked at her as if saying 'you should have the first bite', and pushed it over to her, touching the tip of his tail, in a friendly way, on her back..he was glad she was getting better.

She bit into the rabbit hungrily, but slowly, she felt awkward with him watching her. She pushed the rabbit back into the middle while she chewed on the fatty muscle of the rabbit. She was watching him with guarded shallow acid-like eyes. They were just wandering, she didn't want any emotions to get through to him, that's why they looked acid-like.

Barkpaw watched her eat for a bit but when she pushed the rabbit towards him and her eyes went different he bit it and chewed the plump rabbit, filling his hunger,"Im glad your all better now we can train together".he says with excitement, and with the twitch of his whiskers.

Irispaw nodded and took her fill of the rabbit. "Yea, I haven't even had one training session." She replied thoughtfully.

Barkpaw tilted his head to the side not sure that was possible she was older than hiom and has been a Apprentice longer too,"Realy you have not?..well Icestar has promised as soon as you are better you will be a warrior"he shiverd, noticing she will be away from him..once again.

Irispaw shook her head and then replied. "No, I got sick, and I didn't have a mentor before Eagletalon." Irispaw replied. "And I don't think I'm going to become a warrior yet. I need to be apprenticed first." She sighed, wishing she could be a warrior.

Barkpaw nodded, that did make scene. He then got up and stretched knowing that Icestar was probably waiting for him,"Well Icestar wanted me to go hunting with her...Wanna come?''he said cheerfully by the idea that just came to his head,"Im sure she wound mind."

Irispaw got up and stretched, her unused muscles screaming in protest. She sighed and flicked her tail irritably that she'd become so unfit and unhealthy so fast. "Sure, if she doesn't mind." She mewed quietly while looking at Barkpaw. "I don't know where Eagletalon is though... but I'm sure if Icestar says I can go I could." Irispaw ammended and nodded. She actually wasn't so sure that Icestar would let her, being as weak and skinny as she was.
