New warriors

OOc, i will rp Firepelt from now on, and since my other bro is kind not on for a while[Eagletalon] ill rp him till he is back.

Icestar walks up to her den then easily jumps up to her high rock, felling her leg muscles flex, she was sad that their medicine cat had left but now two apprentices where ready for their warrior name. Icestar looked down upon her busy clan and called the easy words,"All cats old enough to catch their own prey i call you to a clan meeting."

Angelkit was happy, she patted to the clearing this would be her first clan meeting, she looked up at Icestar, she was so proud of her mother, and of her self for surviving, her fur has grown thicker and shinier, she is bigger now, almost apprentice sie, and she looks and acts healthier, Angelkit cant wait to become an apprentice.

Barkpaw walked slowly to where the meeting was happening, he had a hard day training with Icestar..again...he was tired but proud at how well his skills are getting better, but he could not get of his mind the fact that Irispaw could become a warrior anytime, and before him..it could become aqaurd between them and he did not want that.

Morningflower followed the two brothers she had been talking to Firepelt before but now she was scared, she needed to talk to a medicine cat, she was almost sure she had kits in her, her tummy was a bit bigger than usual today and the way she felt and ate, she needed a med cat, but she had to keep cool she new Icestar would apoint a medicine cat today probably, she sat by Angelkit because she liked the cute kit and she needed practice to raping her tail around Angelkit she purred.

Firepelt was following his brother in to camp they went exploring even though he thought this was childish,But he easily got exited when he heard his sister,Icestar, call a clan meeting, he sat by Eagletalon and by Barkpaw, he look at his brother when he started to laugh for no reason,"Eagletalon focus this is a clan meeting..very important, especially after the fact that our medicine cat left".

Eagletalon walked in to camp followed by his brother Firepelt, they went to watch what was happening, maybe a badger, maybe a naming ceremony, its tru that his Apprentice was ready, he smiled. Then remembered the fact that this was funny to him when she had fell a few times at training he fell in to a full blown laugh.

Irispaw and Dahliapaw padded into the main clearing of Iceclan's territory, they looked so much alike but they held themselves differently- after all they did follow different paths in life, both close to StarClan. Dahlia was sure that Iris would become a warrior today but perhaps it wouldn't be such a good thing in some point of views... say for example Barkpaw. Dahlia knew it, but she'd let Iris figure it out on her own, it wasn't Dahlia's place anyways. Irispaw's tail flicked next to her paw in impatience for this ceremony to end, Iris always had to keep improving and often you wouldn't see her until it came to her coming back to fill up the prey pile or to have a quick nap. She really did work hard and she had grown quite a bit since she had recovered from the sickness, now sleek and very well muscled, Iris felt and looked as if she could take anyone on.

Icestar waited in till all her clan was in the clearing then she began her meeting in a strong voice that could be heard by all cats,"I would like to say that this meeting is a good one, two cats in our clan today will get their warrior name, but one of them will be unusual as the medicine cat usualy gives her apprentice that name in the moonpool under Starclan's blessing, but since Ninjapelt left us for a new life, i would like Dahliapaw to please step forward",Icestar jumped down from the high rock and stepped forward waiting for Dahliapaw.

Barkpaw was so happy for Dahliapaw, and because of that he became a bit sad too, that meant for sure that Irispaw will become a warrior too.

Morningflower was so happy, she new that Icestar would appoint a new medicine cat and after the ceremony she would talk to to the new medicine cat, but right now she purred as Angelkit's eyes grew wide.

Irispaw purred and flicked her tail at her sister's shoulder before she stared with excited eyes as her sister maneuvered every cat gracefully and stood before the leader. Irispaw knew that she would probably get her warrior name today, with her sister. That would be nice, but Irispaw was a tad bit more nervous than the always calm, always sensible Dahliapaw. Guiltily her eyes strayed to Barkpaw, she knew how could she not? It was so obvious that he had a crush on her, but straight to the point, until they both became warrior's it wouldn't happen. Iris's amber eyes flicked back over to Eagletalon, her crush. Her thoughts went back to Barkpaw... maybe their different roles in the clan wasn't going to be the only thing keeping them apart.

'I'm here to remind you
That it's not,
'Cause I'm still real.'

Dahliapaw strode toward Icestar with a steady fluid gait, silent as ever without even trying. Her blurry colourless vision was only set on getting to the female leader of Iceclan without totally embarrassing herself. Then again all of her other senses were sharpened where her vision was lacking, I suppose there's an upside to everything... but of course where there's an upside to a downside there is another downside. Her nose was wrinkled as the scent of lingering sickness forced itself to her nose once again. Cats could always smell sickness, if they had a good sense of smell like Dahlia, and Whitecough's scent always stayed a little longer than other sickness's, but it was faint so Dahliapaw just sucked it up and approached Icestar respectfully with a flick of her tail and a dip of the head.

'But that won't happen.
Because I'm there to pull you from Death's embrace,

Icestar watched as Dahliapaw walked gracefully towards her then dipped her head towards the apprentice as she sat down, with a grace full full Icestar began,"im not sure how the medicine cat naming works exactly but ill try, Now i Leader of Iceclan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. she has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help she will serve her clan for many moons to come. Dahliapaw, do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between clans and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost ofyour life?", Icestar has only heard a medicine cat say this once but she has remembered it, and she looked at Dahliaow with a clam face.

Dahliapaw listened intently to her leader, the end of her tail flicking a tad bit anxiously.

"im not sure how the medicine cat naming works exactly but ill try, Now i Leader of Iceclan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. she has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help she will serve her clan for many moons to come. Dahliapaw, do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between clans and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost ofyour life?"

Wow that was longer than the tiny she cat had anticipated. Well always learned something new, always learned something new.

"I do."

Okay, at least that's what Dahliapaw thought she should say but it seemed too short for that long speech that Icestar had just recited.

Icestar eyes glememed as Dahliapw said 'I do', she semmed so sure,"Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your true name as a medicine cat. Dahliapaw, from the moment on, you will be known as Dahliaheart. Starclan honors your Loyalty and Knowledge, and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of Iceclan.", Icestar then walks up to Dahliaheart and touches noses with her, after Dahliaheart respectfully says thanks to Icestar she joins in the chanting,"Dahliaheart..Dahliaheart!!!"

Barkpaw,Eagletalon,Firepelt,Morningflower, and Angelkit join in all exited but Barkpaw called out the most even standing up on his four legs he did,"Dahliaheart..Dahliaheart!!!"

When the cats began to quit down Icestar had not finished so she called her next cat,"Today we not just owner a new Medicine cat we honor a new Warrior too, so Irispaw please step forward", she waited for the young apprentice to come forward, she still did not look as healty as everyone but her eye glowed and her fur was shiny.

Dahliaheart stepped down and maneuvered the crowd of cats that chanted her new name, she'd get used to it eventually but it would be weird for a while... it's not every day you get a new name after all... actually it's quite the opposite. Taking her place back to Irispaw's side, Dahliaheart watched as her almost warrior sister took the way around the crowd instead of going the direct route. It wasn't that she was clumsy or anything, actually just the opposite but Irispaw was a little mistrusting of herself. Dahliaheart had tried to fix this many time, nothing really worked.

Irispaw knew that this would happen, a guilty glance toward Barkpaw later, she lifted herself to all fours and rounded the crowd before standing very surely in front of Icestar. Irispaw knew that she couldn't let one cat make her stay an apprentice forever- or at least until he became warrior because her chance just may be gone then. She was proud of him to stand up and chant her sister's name the loudest, he was just that sweet, but it was time to go now. Irispaw was proud of herself for getting better before winter, it would've been harder if Angelkit or Irispaw were to have waited to persevere and get better, they'd be more susceptible to getting it again. Which would'e set her back further, huh, timing is everything I guess. Irispaw dipped her head to Icestar in respect and stood still to wait for the speech.

'I'm here to remind you

Icestar watched as Irispaw went the long way around, if this wasnt a ceremony she could jut laugh, when Irispaw finanly got there Icestar dipped her head and began,"I, Icestar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice.She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Irispaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect the clan,even at the cost of your life?", she watched to see if this young apprentice meant it.

Brakpaw sighed, he could not believe this is happening to him, he dipped his head, he could not watch this, Barkpaw new she probably would not hang out or do much with him in till he was a full warrior.

Irispaw listened attentively, recognition of these words spun in her mind and showed in her eyes. These words had been repeated by many noble leaders and had been recited by memory for many many moons and now they were all about her and for her. That was something she'd remember for her whole life, mystifying isn't it? Hopefully Barkpaw would become a warrior today too, he seemed ready enough for it, but... it was difficult to explain. She realised that she had been off in her one little world for a few seconds there. With one last thought to Barkpaw she took in a deep breath and answered.

"I do."

And it was done, well besides the vigil held by a new warrior.

Icestar nodds and thinks, this is geat for the clan a new warrior and one that survived some thing bad, she is a brave one,"Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. Irispaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Irisbreeze. Starclan honors your Loyalty) and Bravery, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Iceclan.", Icestar steps forward and touches Irispaw on her head, showing her that she is now a new warrior.

Barkpaw does not chant at first but joins in quietly after wards, Morningflower,Eagletalon,Angelkit, and Firepelt chant her new name,"Irisbreeze, Iisbreeze!!"
