A good Life has began...

Icestar was happy, her clan was growing as new kits arived, new warriors where made, new apprentices, but she was just not sure about one thing, is Angelkit ready to be an apprentice, she looked over at her daughter playing with a leaf, it was fall, she still looked small but healthy now, it was a hard thing to choose.

Angelkit smiled it was a happy day for her, she was happily playing with a leaf, she also was older than most kits, around 6 moons, but because of her sickness she had all her kit life, her mommy was scared to make her in to an apprentice, but she was exited, and she would love to learn.

Brakpaw watched as Icestar started a her daughter, he always felt like Icestar son, but he guessed it wasn't going to happen no more he was older now, and she actually had kit of her own, with a sigh Barkpaw looked over at Irisbreeze.

Eagaltalon looked at Icestar and sighs, he knew that she didnt want her daughter to be an apprentice yet but the warrior code does say that once a kit is six moons old, it can be an apprentice.

Firepelt watches Angelkit with a slight smile. He knew that because of her sickness, she has became very weak but has seen her grow stronger when she was free of her sickness. He started to wonder if Angelkit really was ready to be a warrior but, he has to let Icestar make her decision.

Icestar Watches Barkpaw too, he is turning 12 moon old in a few days, he is ready to become a warrior too, she looks at Firepelt the more serious one of her brother and call him over,"Firepelt over here". Icestar also looks around for a new warrior that co existed with Barkpaw and saw Irisbreeze,"Irisbreeze i need you and Firepelt for a moment in my den", she walks of knowing that they are following.

Firepelt nodded as he heard his sister asking for him, so he followed her into her den.

Irisbreeze bounded out of the medicine cat's den and glanced around for the source of the sentence that had included her name. She relaxed when it was only Icestar and followed just behind Firepelt, her tail brushinng the ground slightly, she was curious as to what was going on. Irisbreeze didn't remember doing anything wrong... or right, so this was a complete mystery to her.

[Stella]

Icestar smiled at the both of them, and sat down pointing with her tail for the both to become comfortable,"Neither of you are in trouble but i have some things to be discussed with two warriors one young warrior and one ..not so senior warrior but has been here since the beginning," Icestar pointed to each of them in turn Irisbreeze first then at her brother Firepelt, she continued on with her meeting,"I have to things I'm not sure on one more sure than the other, First is the fact that Barkpaw is becoming the age of a perfect warrior in a few moon-highs and i would like to hear from the both of you if you think he is ready, and second my concern of making Angelkit a apprentice even though she is the age or over the age of an apprentice, i would like to hear what you both think.", as you looked at the Leader she was concerned mostly for Angelkit but Barkpaw was a problem too he acted like a kit at times, she was not sure if he was ready in a mature way.

Irisbreeze listened intently as Icestar explained what the difficulty was, that was in need of both warriors attention. Irisbreeze had a certain soft spot for Angelkit, since she had been sick with her for the longest time, Irisbreeze had been moved up to warrior sooner than Angelkit had even been considered for being an apprentice. Irisbreeze knew that Angelkit was very ready for it, she was a fighter and she was so eager to learn, more eager than Irisbreeze had ever been.

"I think Angelkit is more ready than I was when I was six moons old."

Irisbreeze answered Icestar in full confidence, then there was the Barkpaw part. In truth, Barkpaw had worked harder than Irisbreeze had, he'd had more training while Irisbreeze had had hardly any and Barkpaw was so enthusiastic about doing his duty for the clan, though he did sometimes still act like a kit. Irisbreeze supposed that it was because there were no other apprentices around to make him want to act older, he had been alone in the clan as a kit as well.

"I think Barkpaw is ready too, he trained harder than me and he knows alot more than I do, I know you're worried about him acting a little more immature than the normal but he'll grow out of it when he's around other warriors, he'll want to act more grown up than he is."

[Stella]

Icestar nodded as Irisbreeze thought out her mind, that's all Icestar could think too,"Thank you for your ideas i do think of that too, im think of doing Barkpaw's Ceremony soon but i wanted to hear what you both thought",now Icestar turned over to her brother she looked at him, and his thoughts she wanted to know what he thought of her concerns.

"I have to agree with Irisbreeze. Even though Barkpaw acts like a kit, it stills says in the warrior code to make an apprentice a warrior is they have pleased their mentor more then enough times. Angelkit should also be made an apprentice because even though she just recovered from her sickness, she will get stronger by learning the warrior code as an apprentice." Firepelt said as he stared in his sister's eyes.

[Stella]

Icestar looked at her brother and dipped her head at both warriors,"Yes i think they are ready then, and so are you Irisbreeze", she looked deeply i to the ginger cats eyes,"I have chosen you to mentor my Angelkit, teach her well, you both have over come a sickness together I'm sure you can teach er all you know, i will do the ceremonies later today.", she sighed and laid down it had been a long night yesterday in the Gathering, and finding out a few weeks ago one of her warriors was pregnant,"Oh and after a rest can you two gather up a hunting party and do a patrol."

Firepelt dipped his head as he slowly walked out of his sister's den.
