RubystarThe brilliant spot of light that shone through the hole in the wall-I had made it to wake me up- glowed dimly, I sighed and reluctantly got up. Then I realised I had to go on my 'daily rounds' to check up on everyone silently. They never knew but I crept towards the elders den warily anyway. Tygerclaw. Whether she was awake or not, I didn't know, but she always managed to surprise everyone and make me laugh, not cruelly of course. But she was funny, sometimes anyway.

Tygerclaw  Tygerclaw lay a sleep but, she itched to get to morning wherre she could wake up and hunt or go on a patrol. When she heard the leader Rubystar coming around she decided to ask "is it time to wake up yet, patrols maybe , i could go but my leg here "points " are a bit achy " Tygerclaw laughs but she is always up for an adventure. right then and there she gets up and does a bit stretch, you can hear all her bones popping and see where her muscles ache. Rubystar She watched Tygerclaw thoughtfully. "Tygerclaw, you should know that an elders job is to be comfortable and safe, and give us advice with your wisdom. You have lived longer than me after all." She gently purred. "Come Tygerclaw, with me. We can go make rounds together. Like I always do. It'd help me alot." She smiled kindly. If only Tygerclaw wasn't so darn hard working and hard to let down. It would make life easier... but less fun and Rubystar needed some fun. She purred with laughter. "Help me will ya Tygerclaw?" She nudged Tygerclaw's shoulder. |

Tygerclaw Tygerclaw was exited when hearing going on patrol she quickly jump up ignoring her old joints " Of course ill come lead the way my leader, btw im not that old i still have a spring in my stead" she replied she wondered what way they where going today , with a smiled she followed. [/color]

She smiled. "First we'll check the medidine cat, then the kits and queens. After that we'll go." She led the way. It would take a while. After they had checked around the camp she threaded through the dark forest. "We'll check the GrassClan border first."

''mew'' Tygerclaw complained as they walked she tried not to sound to old but her joints where complaining " Is it ok if i can get some daisy leaves form the medicine cat for my joints.. then ill be fine to go"
Tygerclaw hoped the leader didn't think she was to old
but she followed anyways even if it hurt or if it was just tiring... she was a warrior ..warriors don't complain,ever |

Rubystar stopped by a patch of daisy. "Take these and rest." She replied gently. "Don't hurt yourself Tygerclaw, youre no warrior anymore."

Tygerclaw growled "And who told the great leader this old cat cant be a warrior any more?!?!, I am capable of doing anything u can ...and maybe even better" She said with anger in her voice but a edge of an a apprentice voice you would get when you say they are incapable of doing something,But she eats the daisy leaves anyway hidden thinking Rubystar couldn't see.
Tygerclaw was furious her tail twitched, waiting for a answer.

I sighed with despair at Tygerclaw. "Tygerclaw, you're not as young as you used to be. You are valuable to the clan anyway, but elders aren't meant for hunting and mentoring. You've had your run now it's time to settle down and rest." She rolled her eyes good naturedly. "But you can be anything you think you're capable of Tygerclaw." She concluded. "Just promise you'll be careful." She pleaded, she loved Tygerclaw dearly, as in family love.
She then turned to Lightningstreak. "Uh yes, yes I believe I do. Tell the apprentices to help the medicine cat with her chores, as they already should anyway. Then can you escort," She was careful with her words around Tygerclaw now, "Tygerclaw back to the elders den. And I know its alot to remember but can you also go hunting for us? There aren't many cats around so be careful and don't pick fights or get into any at all. Any sign of hostility and you come right back here. Empty handed or not." She eyed Lightningstreak carefully. "And I think that is all."

Lightningstreak walks back into the camp, her mouth full of fresh-kill and puts it on the fresh-kill pile. She sees the apprentices carrying herbs into the medicine den and smiles. "Well, that's everything Rubystar told me what to do."

Tygerclaw grumbles but does what she is told, she does rember her good old days as a warrior she was important then.
The young one lightningstreak amuses her, the cat does the work but with care as if not to harm/ make anyone mad or disappointed," ohh and Rubystar, ty for the patrol". |
