As Lightningstar walked across the Training Hollow, she stopped and looked around. 'I've always wondered what it was like to be trained here and having a mentor...and someone to care for me...'She thought to herslef sighing. 'Oh well, nothing can be done now i guess.' She mummbled to herself as she stood up and went back walking.

Ashpelt walked threw the training hollow, his mind was set on getting everything back to normal for the clan. His face serious, the male trotted his fur swishing in the breeze, When will we get new members.... The grey male sighed, he was sad that in the last five moons only two new cats have joined. The clan was growing but Ashpelt expected more of his clan. Sitting down the male looked at the old place Mossstar stood. [/blockquote] |

Lightningstar started walking back when she saw Ashpelt sitting near by. "Good afternoon Ashpelt." She said as she walked over to him. She always admire the male because he always thought about his clan first. Right now, she was thinking on choosing a deputy. But for now, she will have to wait till more cats have joined.

The male turned, his leader was standing close by, he smiled at her, but in side he was worried."Hello Lightningstreak", the gray cat dipped his head respectfully to his leader than looked at her in a way 'sit here', he comfortably put his tail around his feet, slowly and cleanly. His pelt was now loosing the winter coat, he was shedding and it was very uncomfortable he always felt so itching, but he knew that meant summer almost here. He was glad for that. The male knew that meant new cats, new kittens, a new family.
He smiled at his leader again " So what do we need to do today?., he looked at her, he knew the clan neddeded many things especial food and herbs, he just hoped it all survived. |

"Well, Bloosomflower is going to see if the herbs have survived the winter while you and Shadowmist will go find some food." She said as she sat next to him. "i see that you also started to loose your winter coat." Lightningstar said as she looked at his fur. 'I hope that new cats would join this clan. We need more cats.'SHe thought to herself.

Ashpelt smiled, now he had some thing to do, he just had to fin Shadowmist and get to work, but as the leader comments on his fur, her blushes a little, he hates it when he sheds, it makes him looks so fluffy. Ashpelt sighed, "Well yes, its very annoying, very itchy too, but ill get over it", he smiled at the leader, but as he thought he knew cats where very scared of joining any clan at this moment, maybe they will when food is running more, he smiled, but life as a clan cat was not easy.
"Ill get right on it", Ashpelt got up, dipped his head at his leader for respect and walked away, twitching as he walked, the fur was very annoying but he knew it was life. |

Lightningstar smiled as she watched the shedding tom walked away. She raised her head up to the clear, blue sky, closing her green/yellow eyes. She felt the spring wind ruffling her grey pelt and yellow streak on her side. The smiled as she felt the sun's rays hitting her fur, making it glow the dew on grass in the morning. "Maybe new cats will come. My clan needs more cats in it to help keep the clan living. Even if i have to go out and find loners, rogues, and kittypets to join, I will."Lightningstar thought to herself.
