A silver she-cat laid lazily in the shade of a large oak tree, she knew she was probably going to get in trouble for not doing her chores for the day, but clan life was so hepatic. She wanted a break to just relax. She sighed happily and rolled over, her long silver fur dancing slightly in the summer wind. This was the life. Stormpaw twitched her ear, listening to the sounds around her, she figured that her luck would run out later in the day, when either her mentor came to find her or a patrol found her. Either way she was going to get in trouble. A smirk spread across her face at the thought.
(sorry for the short post, i just want to get use to the clan before i post really long ^_^'' )

Nightstrike stalked the territory, looking for her wayward apprentice. After not finding her anywhere in the camp, she knew that Stormpaw had run off again. What am I going to do with that cat? How can I ever teach her when she's never around? She wondered, stopping. She woved her ears towards the sounds of rustling, coming from the west.
She lowered herself to the ground, assuming it was a peice of careless prey or a wayward cat, only to see that it was her own apprentice. Well. I'll teach her to let her guard down! Nghtsrikepromised herself, gathering her legs up beneith herself. this would be fun! With a mighty war cry strong enough to scar the cats of the dark forest, she barreled out of the undergrowth, leaping towards Stormpaw's upturned belly. |

Stormpaw flicked her ear again when she heard a rustling noise, she opened her eyes to see claws and a cat flying toward her. Sudden panic full her body and she let out a panicked hiss, she flipped around her limps flailing around, dust and grass drifted up around her. When she finally got her grip it was to late the cat was on top of her. Stormpaw yowled and flailed her paws out trying to land a blow on the strange cat. Clearly she need more practice. Stormpaw's silver fur was puffed out around her, making her look like a big ball. "Get. Off. Of. ME!" she mewed still flailing her limps at the cat, she could tell if she was hitting the cat or not. Her green eyes where wide with terror. This was not relaxing. She was defiantly in trouble.

"Calm down, you overgrown kit! Have you learned nothing these last four moons? Most aprrentices would be warriors by now!" Nightstrike hissed, ears back and claws sheathed. Stormpaw had hit her, but the scratches where noting more that what a thorn could do. "You can't even hardly call yourself a kit, much less an apprentice! What are you doing out here, instead of at camp, doing your duties as an Ivyclan apprentice? Are you a soft as a kittypet, wanting to sit around all day while twolegs feed out and pet you? Well?"
Nightstrike looked down at her apprentice with her scariest, iciest glare, which was pretty well done, if Nightstrike didn't say so herself. It wasn't that she didn't like the cat, she just didn't approve of how she was always off day-dreaming somewhere, instead of doing her duty to the clan. Now, when Nightsrike was an apprentice, she worked harder than any other cat. Why could Strompaw be like that? She had so much potential, Nightstrike would hate to see it all thrown away because Stormpaw was to mouse-brained to realise it. |

Stormpaw jumped up and was staring into her mentor's face dumbfounded. Every word her mentor said to her was like claws lashing into her skin. She was right, she was nothing more than a stupid kittypet. Soon everyone would be more experienced than her, and they would kick her tail. "I'm.... sorry Nightstrike, your right. I'll take any punishment you are going to assign me" Stormpaw mumbled. She was completely embarrassed. Her heart was beating loudly, she was sure her mentor could hear it. She knew that was going to spread around the camp, and everyone would be giving her those disapproving stares. She was never going to get anywhere in the clan, Stormpaw knew this, but Nightstrike had just slapped the reality in her face. Stormpaw bowed her head in shame, her fur still puffed out and wild with leaves and sticks clung to it "Please don't tell anyone! I'll train harder this time!" she mewed to her mentor looming over her with that stare, that Stormpaw swore could make the most evilest cat in the forest cringe in fright. She hated that stare, the blue eyes made it worst. It was the color of ice, ice spears. Stormpaw suppress a smirk st that one.

Nightstrike looked down at her apprentice, deciding whether or not she was going to punish her. What would be the best way to punish a cat like Stormpaw? The worst punishment imaginable? The one that may turn her habits around? NIghtstrike could only think of one thing. "You will take any punishment I give, right?" She asked, looking down at Stormpaw.
She smirked. "You have none. Your only punishment will be to live with your clanmate's disapointment. Once everyone knows you where out here lazying around, they will all know exactly why you are so far behind in your training. Think about your actions from now on. And remember that your actions do not only reflect on yourself, but on Ivyclan and e, as well. Now come back to camp. We will get something to eat and then get on with training," Nightstrike concluded, turning and begginging to trot back to camp. Hopefully, her unruely apprentice would behave from now on, though somehow Nigthstrike knew it was a false hope! |

Stormpaw gawked at Nightstrike's black back as she turned around to the camp site, sighing the large silver she-cat followed behind grumbling under her breath. She had to think of a scheme, Stormpaw stared intently at the ground thinking, it was obvious that she was thinking up mischief as always. She twitched her tail, then stopped suddenly. Her grey ears with black tuffs on the end swiveled around trying to pin point the noise. Might as well, while I'm out here she thought. Then she slunk into the bushes, leaving Nightstrile walking to camp. Stormpaw knew the way back to camp so it wouldn't be a problem. Slowly Stormpaw stalked a kinda skinny but big squirrel, its grey head shotting up every once in a while, causing Stormpaw to pause. Then it sat up chewing on a acorn. The sound it was making Stormpaw go crazy, each sound made her whiskers twitch. She was about to lose it and just charge out blindly, but she dug her claws in the ground keeping her in place. Come on i can do this! It's just a stupid squirrel! Just do what Nightstrike taught you. Wait what did she say again? she thought, she was getting frustrated with herself. She looked up and the squirrel was farther away. Foxdung! she cursed, then slowly crept up again. Her shoulders rolled she was so slow to the ground. She made sure she was in cover and the wind was blowing toward her, she was almost there. She was so close she could she the whisker on the animal. She smirk she had this, she was confident. She leaped, her powerful legs sent her soaring through the air on top of the squeaking squirrel. Stormpaw dug her claws into the prey trying to keep it between her paws, she bit its throat and held on, suffocating the squirrel. She smiled at her kill, then trotted back to where she had left Nightstrike. She figured her mentor was all ready at the camp looking for her. Stormpaw smirked more. The she-cat's silver whiskers twitched at the smell of the kill, she noticed she was extremely hungry. Who knew being attacked by your mentor made you so hungry? she chuckled, she was always hungry, one of the characteristics of her breed. If a Maine coon cat wasn't watched, the cat would not stop eating and grow fat. Nightstike better watch that.

Nightstrike paused after a few foxlengths, suddenly noticing the absence on her apprentice's pawsteps. She turned, and, sure enough, Stormpaw was gone. Hissing in frustration, she turned and went to look for her wayward apprentice again. She stalked until she found the sent of the lazy kit, then she turned to track down Stormpaw and give her a better lashing than before! She came up right as Stormpaw attacked the squirrel, and Nightstrike allowed herself to be impressed for a moment. This was why she didn't want Stormpaw to grow up lazy! So much potential!
"And just what do you think you're doing?" She asked in a menacing tone, going for the intemidation if punishment didn't work. "We could be in camp right now training. and waht do you do? Slink off again, like a kittypet from her twolegs! If you want to be a warrior, act like one! Now get in front of me and march! before I claw your pathetic little ears off," She hissed, giving her apprentice another icy stare, though not like the last one. This was just her usual stare, not ment to scare all the prey from the territory. |

Stormpaw carried the squirrel in her mouth proudly, she knew nightstike would be impressed by her catch. She trotted and almost ran into her mentor. Stormpaw held her head high until Nightstrike started yelling at her. Stormpaw lowered her head, and clamped down on the squirrel in her mouth "Nothing i do pleases you" she muttered through the squirrel and trotted to the camp. Stormpaw dropped the Squirrel in the fresh kill pile, she turned and looked at Nightstrike. "Can i eat?" she mewed. She was always hungry, but she was starving right now.

Nightstrike strode into the camp, looking for Ivystar. If anyone knew how to tame her apprentice, it would be Ivystar. But Ivystar was nowhere to be seen, and answers eluded capture. She stalked over to the fresh-kill pile, sniffing out a rabbit she had caught earlier, and turned to Stormpaw. "Yes, you may have one peice of freshkill," She knew better than to be sarcastic as she usually was, as her apprentice would take it to heart and eat all she could.
She went and lied down in a sunny place, digging into her rabbit. "Oh, and Stormpaw?" She called to her apprentice, smiling inwardly. "You did a nice job on that squirrel." She then bent her head and laid to work ont he rabbit, hungry after a day of hunting, and searching for a apprentice that was most likely getting into trouble again! |

Stormpaw smiled big as she bounded over to the squirrel she caught, snapped it up quickly and was starting to trot over to her to her favorite place to eat, a large shady bush with beautiful purple flowers, when Nightstrike called to her again "You did a nice job on that squirrel." she complemented. Stormpaw's pale green eyes glowed at the complement, Stormpaw nodded her fluffy silver head as a thanks then laid down to eat. Pleasure glowed off her face.
