The small creamy apprentice bounce right into the training hollow, he fluffy tail twitching at the tip full of excitement, she remembered at the beginning of the day when she seemed so bored to come here but now she is full of spunk. The apprentice turned around facing her mentor, which to her was the best she-cat ever. Sitting down she faced her mentor head tilted ready for a day of fun. |

More sophistically following her young apprentice, the dark eyed she-cat listened around her. There didn't seem to be any other mentors and their apprentices around, which was better off with the warrior. No more distractions for Angelpaw, Irisbreeze was set on impressing Icestar and making the cream apprentice more confident with her moves. They'd start with a simple but effective move, the back-kick, before they moved on to more difficult moves that required considerably more strength.
"Okay Angelpaw, I'm going to teach you a back-kick. First I'll show you."
Irisbreeze's no nonsense voice mewed directly to the cream apprentice. So pretending as if there was a cat from an opposing clan, Irisbreeze spun around and kicked up at the air, taking all of the weight of her body onto her front paws. Her kick looked forceful and graceful at the same time, before she turned back to face Angelpaw.
"You take all of the pressure on your forepaws pads and kick upwards slightly into your enemies chest or stomach, but it has to be forceful and well directed or it will do nothing. The timing must be correct too. So try it on you own and then maybe you can try it on me." [/size] |

The fluffy young she-cat listened her ear high and attentive, her front paw slightly rose as if to ask a question but she slowly put it back down, she forgot what she was gonna ask. Angelpaw watched as her mentor gracefully turned quickly and kicked the air, all the force going on to her back legs making her front light. Angel nodded, '' I think i can do that, let me try''. Angelpaw got yup and stretched her limbs like she was going for a practice or out for a team, after she was done Angel sighed and quickly turned her weight not fully on her kick, she stumbled and fell on her face, she didn't not even have time to put power on her kick before she fell. '' Urgh, why did that happen'', she growled as a scratch on her nose started to slightly bleed. |

Sharp amber eyes strayed back to her apprentice after she had correctly shown the move. Inside, the dark tabby knew that her apprentice wouldn't get it right the first time, hardly any apprentices were that attentive and precise. However, the graceful young warrior watched her new apprentice stretch and seemingly stall. Rolling her eyes, Irisbreeze waited for the final move. Every little thing that went wrong, and right, was brought to her well thought out attention. Approaching her fallen apprentice, the warrior helped her up and looked at the scratch, it didn't seem bad enough to need immediate treatment from her sister.
"That happened because you didn't put all of your weight on your forepaws, if you leave weight on your lower body, it weighs it back down. You need to lock your front legs and keep the weight right and try to kick lower so you don't fall on your face."
Irisbreeze answered, she tapped the back of Angelpaw's forelegs, showing her where she needed to lock her legs. Stepping back and setting herself down to watch again the dark eyed tabby warrior nodded.
"Try again." [/size] |

Angelpaw
Love will take me awayThe apprentice looked at Irisbreezze she rubbed her nose but it was fine just stung a bit, she shook her pelt and nodded as her mentor showed her where all the weighed it suppose to go, ''okay i can do it''. She took a deep breath and jumped her front legs landed with all the weigh on the she then took her back legs and kicked, she did it, but she could have stayed in the air longer, Angelpaw panicked for a moment and landed on all four. '' Urgh i could have done better'', she sighed but knew she would get better.

The dark tabby she-cat watched her apprentice calm herself and ready herself for the move, the warrior knew she could do it, the little cream apprentice was strong. It would just take some getting used to before she could be as good as her mentor. Irisbreeze was set on getting Angelpaw strong and closer to becoming a warrior everyday, the amber eyed she-cat knew she had competition from Fireflight so she'd have to step it up a little more. Of course, the warrior wouldn't push Angelpaw too hard for her own purposes, that wouldn't be fair. Irisbreeze was impressed that her apprentice had caught on that fast within that little amount of time. A small smirk entered her features as she watched.
"That was better Angelpaw, try to kick out harder and faster this time. Actually let's try this together, see if having a moving target will help."
Irisbreeze took a few steps back and waited for Angelpaw's response. [/size] |

The young she cat giggled, she was so dam proud of her self. She smiled and nodded, her ear flopping as her head moved, ''Sure Irisbreeze, i sure think that would help'', she backed up trying to mimicked her mentor, her legs where ready for the kick, her eyed fierce with the concentration Angelpaw would need. She was ready, all she needed was the go from her favorite warrior. |

Smiling to herself, the darkly coloured tabby turned and strode toward the edge of the clearing. Waiting for her apprentice's okay on the situation, Irisbreeze spun around and faced her cream apprentice. Maybe soon she could start learning some more complex moves, with the worry on the invading clan, everyone would have to be ready. Including Angelpaw. Nodding, the striped warrior surged forward with her usual swift grace. Her paws outstretched toward her apprentice. Maybe this time she would get it right. [/size] |

The apprentice lunged forward, her paws flying, but catching her, soon her eyes where burning with thrust in her body, her legs kicked up, and she landed lightly, Angelpaw did not move but she breathed hard, no reason, but soon the apprentice noticed how she did, a huge smile came to her face. ''IRISBREEZE, I DID IT, OH MY I DID IT!!. She started to hop around, her deep green eyes where glistening like gold, nothing could make her day worst, ''Teach me something new!''. |
