Dawn walked around she knew she was in a territory of a clan, Iceclan. she had talked to a loner a few days ago and the loner told her that Iceclan loves to swim. Dawn liked to swim but she also doesnt like swimming when its cold. she smiled and walked around, hopefully she didn't come pass a patrol because she didn't want to get hurt. She hoped that it was a hunting patrol ...kinda she knew how cats were when they were hunting. she kept on walking around when she came upon a trail she followed it until she came upon a cat it smelled of Iceclan .she smiled ran off stepping on twigs along the way causing cracks along the way hopefully the cat heard them and followed them she ran till she saw a shady tree and pretended to be asleep so that the strange cat would find her.she was in a playful mood though. she caused the twigs to snap so it sounded like she was playful and not dangerous to the clan, plus she was only a kit so this clan would probably take her in...hopefully.

The leader decided to go out alone today to have a relaxing time, leafbare was coming and she just wanted alone time but that could not happen. She sighed as she heard breaking of leaves and twigs, Icestar turned and started to walk thinking it was her baby Angelpaw but as she turned the corner she saw a ginger cat, a growl came to her throat, but as a young cat she must have no harm to Iceclan. She hissed and called out, ''What are you doing in my clan young one?''. |

Dawn looked up, blinked and backed up against the tree. "umm..i'm sorry mam' i didn't mean to trespass, I'll leave if you want me to, i'm just trying to look for a home. my parents abandoned me a few months ago because i didn't meet up to their standards. they are killers and i don't like to kill unless needed to." she stood their waiting for an answer from the she-cat. she stayed backed up against the tree and tucked her tail between her legs showing no harm meaning to this older she-cat. this she-cat wass older wiser and stronger than dawn. " I..I..I'll leave if you want me to..." she stuttered at that last sentence.

I was following a strange scent. Then I smelt Icestar's. NO! It could be a cat ready to kill her! I started to run, barreling toward a ginger shape. "Icestar!" I cried out fearfully. I didn't want my leader to be harmed so I tackled and pinned down the cat. "Who are you?" I hissed, baring my teeth. I didn't notice that this cat was barily more than a kit so I held my ground.

The white she-cat was going t speak and she did,''Ah young she-cat, you wish to join a free life, of safety, food, and a family who loves for you, Iceclan may be yo-''. But Icestar was not able to finish her sentence a barging Fireflight charged out of no where attacking the poor kit, Icestar yowled, hot could she ever do this to a kit! The leader grabbed her warrior's scruff and dragged her off, ''Fireflight how dare you, she if only a kit!, she would never do any harm''. The leader was mad, her green and blue eye where burning with anger. But she sighed and looked back at what would be a frighten young cat, she blinked and dipped her head.''I am so sorry for my warrior, she will never do this again'', and Icestar would make sure of that. |

Dawn mewed a little frightening mew when the large ginger pinned her to the ground. she was grateful that this she-cat pulled this large cat off of her. as soon a Dawn was let go she darted behind the tree as she climbed up it hiding on the branch only poking her head out leaves watching the cat called 'fireflight'. " its ok it just startled me" Dawn jumped down from tree landing softly on her paws... she frowned and kept her eyes on 'fireflight' and said "my name is Dawn..." she softly growled. Keeping her eyes on this ginger cat,making sure she will not attack again, answered what seemed to be the leader "now what were you saying mam'?" she kept switching her eyes from the ginger she-cat to the leader.

"Icestar! I'm sorry I thought she was a warrior from Fireclan! I've been tracking her for a while now I swear to StarClan I didn't know she was a kit! I just didn't want anything to happen to you...'' I explained in a rush. I had my ears pinned, my head low, and my tail on the ground. I didn't want to make Icestar angry. "I'm sorry Dawn. I didn't mean to scare you like that. I just feared for my leader's life. As you know I'm Fireflight." I said shakily. I would never attack a kit on purpose it was just everything that was going on...I would have to do something I didn't want to do and soon...

Icestar shook her head slowly and called the kit down waving her paw,''Come on Dawn she is fine''.The leader just shook her head at her warrior, she still mad but she knew Fireflight was a little jumpy right now. ''Just let it go, now Dawn would you like to join us?'' The leader sweetly walked closer to her, Icestar's motherly side coming out. |

DAwn stood there astonished, she had finally gotten accepted!! yes thank you, i would love to join! dawn was going to keep a close eye on firelight from know on....she trusted the leader who name she now knew as ice-star. but only a litte and she wasnt going to let her gaurd down. she smiled an wrapped her tail around her legs. she looked around and asked where are your holes?

"Our holes? You must mean dens." I said. The little she cat still didn't trust me but I knew she would eventually. I hissed softly. I could tell Icestar was still mad at my but I knew it was for no reason, I seriously didn't know she was a kit. I started to get a little mad myself, I mean she knew what I had to do. I looked at the kit who was siting there, almost as if she could beat me if we fought, which made me madder. "Congratulations. If you'll excuse me I think I'll go on a boarder patrol, if you don't need me that is Icestar. I'm sure you can handle the KIT on your own." I said testily. I raised my head and tail into a proud position. That little kit looked so smug...

The leader sighed, ''Yes dens, if you would like to see follow me, and soon we need to get you new name, and a mentor, my we will have to many apprentices''. The leader shook her head but flicked her tail at the older kit to followed as Fireflight walked away''Lets go''. The white she-cat trotted to the clearing, knowing the 'kit' would be old enough to follow, she slipped under the brambles, they where home. ''Well if you would like a tour i can get a apprentice or a warrior to show you around, which do you prefer, and your naming ceremony, well other too, will be this moon fall''. |

DAwn followed Icestar and answered her question yes i would love a tour, i would like to meet another apprentice... she frowned and asked icestar? whats an apprentice? and a naming cericmony. i want to keep my name! and what is a mentor? she was confused about all these new terms. she had alot to learn she smiled and continued to follow ice storm toawrds what they called dens. she couldnt wait to see these other cats!

The leader was walking toward high rock where she made her announcement and lived. ''Well let me explain some of the warrior way maybe, lets head to my den''. The leader walked behind the huge rock and pushed aside the lichen, she walks in and hold it aside for the young cat, she walks to her moss den and sits down, ''Now first of all, we classy kit as a cat 6 moons and young, a apprentice is a cat anywhere from 6 moon to twelve moons usually and a warrior is anyone older whom has been trained to be a warrior''. she curls her thin tail over her huge paws and yawns, she was tired but Icestar loved talking of the warrior ways. ''A naming ceremony is when you get you apprentice name, warrior name or when you retire really like your name would be Dawnkit right now'', she smiled but continued, ''And last a mentor is a warrior that teaches you all you need to know when you are a apprentice to become a warrior your self''. |

DAwn was astonished at the society in these clans she smiled and said oh now i understand can i meet some of the other kits and apprentices? she jumped and bounced around she had never done that before it felt great to be excited then she realized that she was acting foolish. she grinned a giulty smile. she was embarassed. she looked around and asked may i go look around? she smiled and stood up and perker her ears.

The leader was glad she understood, she smiled and nodded, ''Of course, i will ask-'', but before she could even finish her sentence a small creamy fluff ball cam barging in, her daughter Angelpaw, ''Angelpaw you didnt even as if i was busy, but this is Dawn''. The white she cat pointed to the young ginger cat and back to Angelpaw, ''Would you show her around?''.
Angelpaw barged in only to find her mom with a young kitty, she smiled but was embarrassed, but her mom asked to show the ginger kitty around so Angel nodded, ''Of course momma, let go'', she got up and walked out of the leader's den hoping the kit was following, ''What d you want to see first?'', her green eyes where friendly and shiny. |
