Two she-cats padded through the empty camp, in sync, forever mirrored in their looks. Darkly striped tails swayed ands swept the ground. Not a word was traded. The renowned duo had grown apart somewhat since their promotion from apprentices to a warrior and a medicine cat. Still, when they agreed on something serious, they worked on it together. Currently they were worried for the safety of their clan. The Fire prophecy was worrying, but that wasn't exactly why they wanted to talk to their leader. It might just be related but they wouldn't know it until after the Moonpool. All these two knew was that the new cat was bad news, and Fireflight being 'in love' with him wasn't true nor good either. Their leader deserved to know. The more athletic and confident of the two leaped up the rocks to the entrance of Icestar's den, while the smaller and more conserved one gracefully padded behind. Both stood before their leaders den before the more confident tabby called out.
"Icestar? We have something to... discuss. It's somewhat important." |

The leader was laying in her den, her eyes half closed, she was nervous, she did not like this Tigerfire, the way he took Fireflight that night, the way he seems, to perfect, she sighed and hid her face under her tail, her eyes dull, even dead, she sighed and heard foot steps around her dean. She stood as the voice of her warrior came, Irisbreeze. The white she-cat swiftly stood and walked out, her face nervous, and serious, she could tell this was big, her medicine cat and best warrior was here, her tail flicked towards her den, ''Please come in and tell me what you need to discuss''. She followed in after the tabbies, her eyes not dull, but seriously dead with worry, she sat and watched wondering what they will say. |

Dahliaheart and Irisbreeze
Both tabbies stepped forward, the more muscular one slightly ahead, showing who was in charge in that aspect. Settling down they waited for their leader to be comfortable before they glanced at each other, tails twitching anxiously. They didn't know where to start even though they had it all planned out. All that they could think was what if they were wrong? What if they made fools of themselves? No one would trust their judgement again. But they knew they couldn't live in fear, so the more diplomatic one spoke to set some standards first. Clearing her throat Dahliaheart started.
"Icestar, with this prophecy coming up, even before that- Irisbreeze and I have felt something deeply wrong about this Tigerfire,"
Her small voice mewed, not a pause or shake in the toning of it. She was nervous of course but she had to do this for the good of her clan. That's all either of them lived for. All that either of them would ever live for. Anything that they could do to save it they would do. They were faithful and loyal. But the other one carried on.
"This Fire prophecy has gotten us thinking that maybe Tigerfire and Fireflight are two to do with this."
Irisbreeze finished her sentence and glanced at Icestar before flicking her twin with the tip of her tail, telling her to carry on the sentence and what she meant by they were involved in this confusing prophecy. After all, Dahliaheart could explain things so much better than the warrior could.
"They both have 'Fire' in their names. And I don't think you should trust him. I don't know about her though."
Silence hung in the air thickly as the twins rant dwindled and they both sighed, thinking that their leader would think they were talking rubbish. Maybe she wouldn't believe a word they said. They could only hope.
"All we're saying is that you should be careful. I don't think it's love." [/size] |

The leader listened, her ears back, she was tired, and she knew this prophecy now, and much more then the medicine cat it seemed, Icestar must have not told her, she felt bad but its better than late then never. She looked at both and nodded, ''Thank you, but it seems i have left some out...''. She remembered the day Fireflight came barging in telling her of the prophecy, telling her Squirrelflight had come to her and said she was the one, the day she found them two at fourtress, it all came back.''Fireflight is the good cat, Squirrelfloght came to her in a dream, yes she will be our savior, but for Tigerfire, i have bad feeling for him, i dont know if to thrust him, specially now''.She once more, curled her tail, and looked at both, they where very important to her clan, but now Icestar's eyes where wide and she looked at both cats, ''What do you think?'' |
