Seemingly alone in the World...

"Don't you think I know that! Don't you think that I know other cats have worries and problems but how many have to for fill a prophecy that StarClan has told? And to suceed in that prophecy they would have to kill the one they loved?! How would you feel if someone told you that you had to kill Dahliaheart?!" I snapped angerly. The dark she cat's next words enraged me even more. "I don't care about the clan! I don't care about the clan?! I do! Don't you think that if I didn't care about the Clan that I would have run far away by now never to be seen by another cat. NO! I stayed here because I knew that my Clan needed me! I knew that without me who else would kill the cat that wants to rule the forest! StarClan chose me and I have to do it because I care about how the four clans will go on. How IceClan will survive! Maybe you should stop and think about how I'm feeling just for a moment Irisbreeze. Wouldn't you feel the same way? If you had to do what I have to do you would!" I was on my feet now, my pelt bristling, teeth bared, claws out, eyes gleaming with the fire that hadn't been there before. Determination was that fire and I was determined to prove myself. I was shaking with rage and hurt. How dare she! "IceClan means more to me than you will ever know. I would gladly give up my life to save the Clan." I said softly. My sides heaved with exhastion. I was still ready for anything. I tried to calm myself down, I tried my hardest but the she cat had said all the wrong things at the wrong time.

Hazecloud smiled and nodded his head after Fireflight finished her rampaged speech. "Thats what the good fire is about. Showing determination, saying how you would sacrifice to save your clan along with the other four, taking control over what others say about you." He said with a chuckled. "I knew that your great grandfather Firestar was smart to make you follow in his step to finish that old tiger cat once an for all. The good fire has to stop the evil fire for Tigerstar can finally be gone for good. You are defintally ready for the battle Fireflight. I'll be by your side in the battle to prove to your clan that you are the best warrior that the forest will know in history to come. You have mastered all your training that i taught you and found your true self Fireflight. Me, Bluestar and your great grandfather Firestar are all glad that you found who you really are." He said as he looked at her proudly.

That was all the dark tabby needed. It seemed that Starclan cat Hazelcloud had been thinking the same thing as Irisbreeze. The self pity was almost gone though not quite, and she had put into words her determination and passion for the Clan. The dark eyed tabby just wanted to know how devoted that the good fire was to the clans. She had passed that test in the deputy's eyes. It was probably best to leave before Fireflight attacked her, though she could handle the prophecy cat easily, she didn't want to provoke any fights. That's not what deputy's did. No words were needed, the tabby dipped her head to the dead cat and wandered away to the forest. Now where had she put those squirrel's...?

I took a deep breath and my claws scored furrows in the ground. I imagined it was my enemies pelt being ripped to shreads under my claws. Suddenly the ground looked like a tabby colored pelt and blood ran from the furrows in the ground that I made. I let out a slight gasp and all faded though the faintest trace of blood hung in the air. I shook my head sadly at Hazelclouds words. "No Hazelcloud. You are wrong there. I have not found who I really am and I won't ever again. I've changed and the cat who I thought was who I really am, isn't any longer. I am a new Fireflight and hopefully I am going to be a better one." Fierce determination pulsed through my veins once more and I would set off to be what I was meant to be. A warrior. Maybe I wasn't meant to be deputy of this Clan or any clan. Maybe one day I would set off and find new territory in the forest to call my own. I would be the leader and founder that clan. For now I would consintrate on being the best warrior the forest has ever known. The mysterious firey cat who appeared out of nowhere to save the forest.

"You have found who you really are!" Hazecloud said, feirce in his voice. The wind started to swirl around the cats there, engulfing them in a powerful, windy fortex, making them trapped in a twister like thing with fog as the twister and fog surrounding Hazexloud/ "You have found out who you really are!" He said again as his eyes started to glow bright yellow. "When you were a kit, thats who your were! When you have been told that you are the good fire, you were lost! You knew half of who you are! But now you found your other half!" He started as his eyes continue to glow. Then the past Leaders Firestar, Mistystar, Blackstar and Onestar surrounded Fireflight, eyes also glowing yellow and all five cats talked in unison. "You having found the strength within yourself to stand up foryourself is proof of who you are! You will be a leader one day! Your story of how you saved the clans will go down in history! You will be remembered for times to come! Elders will tell of your existence and how you saved the clans! You have Starclan inside you, helping you getting ready for the time for you to shine! You have the ancesters of Tigerclan, Lionclan and Spotted clan within you! you have the strength of Starclan and the ancient clans in you! Helping you through your dark times! YOU WILL BE A LEADER! You just have to defeat the obsticles in your path to reach your goal! You may not be deputy now, but you will be a leader one day!" The five cats said as the four, old leaders disappeared. Hazecloud's eyes still glowing yellow, fog surrounded him. When the fog vanished, a tiger stood where he was, eyes glowing yellow. "You have the slyness of the tiger in you Fireflight! Use it to trick your enemy!" The mighty, striped cat said as it Formed into a Cheetah. "You have the swiftness of the Spottedclan in you! Use it to out run your enemies!." Siad the swift moving female Cheetah. She then morphed into a powerful lion, mane glowing with strength. "You have the leadership of a lion in you Fireflight. You will become a great leader. Just like your great grandfather Firestar, you will be a sucessful leader in the time of darkness. For this is who you are." Said the lion as he disappeared and was replaced by Hazecloud. The twister went away as the wind went back to its normal, soft, gentle breeze. The fog gone and Hazecloud's eyes back to normal.

I watched the whole thing with wide eyes. What the former leaders said was true. I dipped my head. "It is your will StarClan. I shall do as you command." I said softly, firmly. "Your right Hazelcloud. I have found who I am now." Firestar eh? I smiled. Squirrelflight I'm related to you. I thought. She only purred and I felt her leave. "So now what Hazelcloud? The next gathering seems moons away..." I said slowly, a flicker of fear showing in my eyes.

Hazecloud smiled at Fireflight's mood change. "We continue training, making you stronger. You have the strength of Tigerclan, Lionclan, Spottedclan, Shadowclan, Windclan, Riverclan, Thunderclan and Iceclan in you. You will defintally save this place from the evil fire! For you are the Fire to save the clans!." HAzecloud said proudly as he looked at the fire pelt she-cat in front of him.

I nodded. "Of course." I became a little edgey again when I thought about the wait. I would have to show IceClan the cat who wasn't jumpy or spooky. I would show them the Fireflight who existed before but went away. I shook my pelt of dirt and went to the stream and lapped up some water. Then I shook my head to get the cold droplets off of my nose. "Leaf Bare is coming." I said. "Come on let's go hunt and then we can return to camp. I beackoned with my tail and started walking toward the forest, my nose sniffing the air for the faintest traces of prey.
