Where Iceclan gets its name

Firepelt smiled from the cold air hitting him like a gently breeze. He loved walking around in his territory when there its snow. Thats why his clan is called Iceclan, because the snow makes this area beautiful. "Your training is going along great Mistypaw." He said proudly at his apperentice. "I bet you'll be strong to beat me." He said smiling as he patted Mistypaw's head. "Now for border patrol." He said as he looked over at Hazecloud and Adderkit. Something about Hazecloud gets him thinking. But since he's part of the clan, he cant say that he's a bad cat.

Hazecloud smiled as the cool air touched his face. Its been a long time since he felt snow under and beneth his paws. He now remembers how he played in the snow a lot when he was just a kit. "Right Firepelt. Ready for your border patrol Adderpaw?" He asked as he looked down at his apperentice.

Adderkit loved the snow. It was always so cool and cold. She loved this kind of weather. Now she didnt feel like shes was going to become the sun from its heat. "I am Hazecloud!" She said happily as she ran over towards Mistypaw. She and Mistypaw became really great friends ever since they became apperentice. SHe also love her mentor. To her, he was full of secrets and mystery. She likes how he shows her fighting moves that no other cat knows.

But she turned around and looked up at her distant uncle. ''When will we learn the back-kick, and the belly rack?'', her midnight black tail swished back and forth, wonder in her pure electric blue eyes. She also wondered how her siblings training was going but for now she was exited for this border patrol.

"After this border patrol, Ill take you back to the camp for you to rest and if your up for it, we'll go to the training hollows to teach you those moves." He said as he patted his apperentice's head with her tail. "Now sniff around and tell me what you smell." He told her, wanting to see how much improvement her sense of smell is coming along.

Hazecloud smiled as he watched his apperentice. "Ok Adderpaw. I want you to look around and see whats there that anything left behind on this border." He asked her, waiting to see how much she learned and pay attention.

Adderpaw looked around with ehr sharp eyes. Hazecloud taught her how to see things further then any cat and to find the smallest track anything left behind. "Well, a bird was here because of the prints it left behind in the snow and i think i see some cat fur on the branch." She said as she walked up to it and sniffed it. "But it smells different then from any of the clans.

Hazecloud and Firepelt looked at one another, worried look on their face but they quickly hid it before their apperentices could question them.

"Probably some cat fur the blew onto that branch from the wind. We did have some pretty strong winds a few days ago." Hazecloud said as he patted Adderpaw's head.
